Inside Out Synergy ("we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy covers our website, BaZiDecoded.com, and all our Services: consultations and readings, classes and courses, books, annual updates, subscriptions and apps. We collect only what we need, and we never sell your information.

What we collect
Contact and account details: your name, email address and, where needed, phone number, when you book, buy, subscribe or create an account.
Birth details for readings: the date, time and place of birth you give us so we can prepare your consultation, reading or annual update.
Purchase details: what you booked or bought, your plans and renewal dates, and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Messages: emails, contact forms and chat conversations you send us.
Website visits: basic analytics such as pages visited and device type, collected by our website platform.

Information that stays on your device
Some of our apps store your profile, birth details and saved charts only on your own phone or computer. That information isn't sent to or kept on our servers.

To provide the consultations, readings, classes, products and apps you ask for
To manage bookings, accounts, payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds
To send account and booking notices, including sign-in codes, receipts, appointment reminders and a reminder before a yearly subscription renews
To answer your questions and improve our Services
To send tips, news and updates, only if you've chosen to join our email list

Who helps us
We use trusted service providers who handle information only to provide their service to us, such as:
Wix (our website, bookings, member accounts, payments, emails and website chat, including its AI chat assistant)
Netlify (hosts some of our apps)
These providers may store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Email choices
Joining our email list is optional, and you can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email. Account and booking notices are part of the Services you've bought, so they're still sent while you have an active booking, plan or account.

How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're a client or member, and afterwards for as long as needed for your records with us and for tax and legal reasons. Then we delete it.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing emails, by contacting us. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children
Our Services are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security
Our website and apps use secure HTTPS connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will show the new date above. If we make a significant change, we'll let active members know by email.
